Business Solutions Manager – I.T

We have identified a new opportunity for an outstanding individual to join our rapidly growing business to play a key part in delivering business tools and solutions that support and enable our continued growth and development plans. This role will manage a new team of business solutions specialists who will help define and shape the IT solutions across all our sites in Europe and the USA.

Here is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to build and develop a new business tools team that can make a significant business contribution through their ability to deliver measurable value-added and innovative solutions into the business. 

This role requires the candidate to take a hands-on approach to delivering business solutions by utilising excellent technical and business skills to deliver solutions that provide a measurable Return on Investment.  Utilising a combination of In-House developed and commercial solutions to provide the right tools that enable and provide value to the business.

Must have working knowledge of web development technologies and a programming background is preferred. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Java, SQL as well as SEO and Analytics are a key requirement and knowledge of digital solutions is an advantage.

With an innovative and creative ability combined with good business acumen they will collaborate closely with partners both internally and externally to leverage the available expertise and resources to meet the business requirements and deliver effective business solutions.

This role has been developed to provide technical leadership to the IT Business solutions team in delivering off the shelf and in-house designed solutions.

The Business Solutions Manager will build and develop relationships with business stakeholders to ensure that IT solutions are aligned with their goals and priorities as well as the IT and business strategies.  Helping to shape IT strategy through their expertise and knowledge the candidate will help IT meet its objectives in providing value added services and solutions.

The ideal candidate for the position will be educated to degree level in I.T or Business related subjects or equivalent. Development and programming experience is essential. Experience working with multi-site operations is desirable. Business acumen and technical ability must be demonstrated. The ideal candidate will also present well, have good communication skills to liaise with multiple departments. Influencing skills are required also.
