ProStrakan is a highly successful European headquartered Pharma company with an emerging US Commercial and Development team.  This is your unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor and make a big contribution to our success. 
In this highly valuable role, you will be the primary medical liaison and scientific expert and support for ProStrakan commercial efforts in the US.  You will provide direct support to physicians, pharmacists, administrators and to ProStrakan Commercial personnel.  In this role you will

 

  • Build and implement a medical affairs plan for current and future products
  • Present healthcare professionals with accurate, unbiased and balanced information
  • Build advocacy and collaboration with key opinion leaders, academic centers and professional organizations within the oncology and pain arena
  • Actively participate in advisory boards, speaker training events, clinical investigator meetings, regional national and potentially international meetings as required
  • Develop and manage and/or deliver drug related and scientific educational programs both to external healthcare individuals as well as to ProStrakan personnel
  • Answer unsolicited requests for information on ProStrakan’s products in an accurate, unbiased and balanced way.
  • Foster and facilitate proposals from US investigators
  • Work with Managed Markets and Marketing to review the content of product support materials

 

This role requires an MD, Pharm. D or PHD .  You will have solid oncology and/or pain therapy area knowledge and ideally a strong network within these scientific communities.  You will likely have had some MSL or Medical Affairs experience either in a head office or regional role.  This role requires an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with demonstrated personal initiative.  This role is based in the US HQ but requires extensive nationwide overnight travel.
